Elected by the people of Texas in 1999 as the County Clerk for Brazoria County, Joyce Hudman serves as the county’s official keeper of municipal records. Joyce was an employee of the Brazoria County Clerk’s Office for 3 years prior to being elected, giving her over 17 years of hands on experience in all areas of the County Clerk’s Office.

The Real Property Records Department of the Brazoria County Clerk’s Office records and retains real property deeds and plat maps. Additional services are provided at this office. See their website for more information.
The County Clerk’s office employs 49 people and has four office locations throughout the county. The main office is located in Angleton and is housed in the East Annex building, commonly known as “the old Wal-Mart building.” Services provided by this location include:
