Changing Ownership of a Mobile Home

Complete the appropriate information on the “Application for Statement of Ownership and Location” form, provided by the Manufactured Housing Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The application fee is currently $55, which should be submitted directly to the TDCHA. The TDCHA requires that you also furnish an 18-month Tax Certificate, which should be obtained from the Brazoria County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office. In order to obtain an 18-month Tax Certificate, all prior year taxes must be paid – as well as the current years estimated tax. This information should assist you in accomplishing your ownership request in order to obtain a current Statement of Ownership and Location in your own name.
